Happy Wedding Anniversary Hubs!

Today, Hubby and I celebrate our second wedding anniversary. We still think of ourselves as newlyweds – although, we’ve been a couple for close to fifteen years. (Hey: even as a teenager, I knew he was a keeper!) Would it be a cliché to say that my wedding day was one of the best days of my life? Yes it would be… but there you go. When you marry the love of your life, are surrounded by fabulous family and friends, dance all night, see your grandmother toasting with a jello shot, jump in and out of a photo booth, eat mini burgers at midnight… well, it doesn’t get much better than that, does it?

Several times, I’ve hinted that Hubby and I’s wedding had a strict black, white and leopard dress code… here’s proof!

Friends and family impressed us with with their creative take of the black, white and leopard dresscode. We saw animal print sunglasses, ties, jewelry, dresses, nails and even tails...

Animal Print Bonanza

Did I ever tell you that at Hubby and I’s wedding, there was a strict black, white and leopard dress code? (I’m not kidding.)  It was magical – you should see the pictures! I promise to post some on our wedding anniversary in September. In the meantime, whether you are running off to date night, or heading out to the movies with some friends, try adding a touch of animal print. It will be sure to brighten your day. Happy weekend, Emily xo

Currently Craving (leopard)

The great thing about cravings is that they don’t need to be outrageously expensive. Case in point: this oh-so-adorable bargain from H&M. As a leopard-lover, this little number has my name all over it! The best part is that I can easily see it transitioning from summer to winter simply by adding black tights and a cute jacket.

Tell me, what are you craving this week?
